The Inventory Details page in AutoGate shows all information and actions related to a single vehicle listing.
It brings together key details, performance data, and publishing controls in a clear, easy‑to‑navigate layout, while keeping familiar functionality in the same locations.

How to access this page
- Log into your AutoGate account
- Select List under Inventory in the main menu
- Find the vehicle you’d like to view and click the make/model to open the Inventory Details page
Vehicle details
Key vehicle information is now displayed above the photo gallery, so important details are visible as soon as you open a listing. This change makes it easier to view and access key information without scrolling.
This section includes:
- Price
- Odometer
- Promote status
You can copy the price or stock number by selecting the copy icon next to each value. This means you can quickly reuse these details when updating listings, sharing vehicle information, or entering data into other systems, without needing to manually copy, paste or re-type details each time.
Note: prior to mid-February 2026, this information was located within the details section below the vehicle photos.
Vehicle photos
The photo gallery displays all images associated with the listing.
From this section, you can:
- Review existing photos
- Re-order, add and delete photos
-
Check photo completeness and quality
Manage publishing
Publishing controls are located to the right of the vehicle photos. These controls allow you to manage where and when a listing is visible. Visit our article about Inventory Distribution to find out more about this feature.
From here, you can:
- Update the vehicle status to In Stock, Withdrawn, or Sold by clicking on the desired button. A confirmation alert will appear in the top‑right corner once the update has been applied.
- Publish or unpublish the listing across carsales, your website and other supported marketplaces using the available toggles
It’s important to update this status when needed, so your stock stays up to date and is delisted once it’s no longer available.
Ad Health
Ad Health is based on how complete a listing is, taking into account its media (quantity of photos and videos) and details (is the vehicle information and description complete?). Adding more media and completing more details will increase the Ad Health percentage.
This section highlights any missing information or areas where the listing could be improved. We recommend you aim for the highest Ad Health rating to help attract more qualified leads and improve conversion.
Inspections
Vehicle inspections can be booked from the Inventory Details page.
These inspections are carried out by a qualified professional through Redbook Inspect and assess key aspects of the vehicle, including performance, safety features, and overall condition.
- Located on the right‑hand side of the page, below Ad Health
- Select ‘Book now’ to be redirected to the Redbook Inspect website
Note: This follows the same inspection booking flow as the previous Inventory Details page, with no changes to the inspection process itself.
Promote
This section shows how a listing is currently being promoted and lets you manage Promote products directly from the Inventory Details page.
Search result position
The search result position tag shows how the vehicle compares to similar listings in the market. Possible positions include High, Mid, Low, or Not enough matching items in market.
Active Promote products
Tags indicate any active Promote products applied to the listing, such as Ultimate Boost, Top Spot, Showcase, or Enhance.
Promote bundle toggle
If a Promote bundle has been applied, a toggle will appear. You can switch this off to remove the Promote product. Bundles are purchased via the Promote experience.
Promote button
Click the Promote button to open the Promote side panel, where you can view, apply, or manage Promote products.
Auto‑renew
If auto‑renew is enabled, this will be shown with an Auto‑renew label. Selecting Cancel opens the Promote side panel, where auto‑renew can be managed.
Recent activity
The Recent activity section shows a history of updates made to an individual listing.
It provides a chronological view of key changes, helping you understand what has been updated and when. This can be useful when tracking edits or confirming the status of a vehicle.
This section includes:
- Updates made to the listing and the date they occurred
- Changes to publishing status, edits, price changes, and updates to the ad health rating
Performance overview
The Performance overview section shows how an individual listing is performing based on buyer engagement.
Located below the general overview, this section brings key performance information together in one place, making it easier to review how a vehicle is tracking.
The metrics shown include:
- Views – the number of times the listing has been viewed
- Leads – enquiries submitted for the vehicle
- Watchers – the number of buyers who have saved the listing to watch
This section allows you to monitor engagement over time and compare performance across your inventory, helping you identify listings that may need attention.
Print brochure
The Print brochure option is available directly from the Inventory Details page.
- Located in the top-right corner of the page
- Select Print brochure to generate a printable brochure for the vehicle details
LiveMarket insights (subscribers only)
If you have a LiveMarket subscription, selected insights appear directly on the Inventory Details page for each vehicle from mid‑February 2026.
This allows you to view key market and pricing insights while reviewing a listing, without needing to switch between pages or tools. Having these insights alongside vehicle details and performance helps provide additional context when assessing how a vehicle is tracking and deciding on next steps.
What this section helps you do:

Managing displayed insights:
You’re in control of which insights appear. You can select up to 7 insights to display. Once selected, these insights will automatically appear on the Inventory Details page for each vehicle.
To view more insights or make changes, select ‘All insights’ to open the side panel, where you can review, edit, or update your selection at any time.
AI prompts
