OEM-sourced Special Offers can be applied to eligible newcar listings to help them stand out on carsales and encourage more confident buyer enquiries.
Dealers can activate Special Offers directly from their Inventory List page, making it easier to manage offers as part of their existing inventory workflow.
Why is this useful?
Special Offers are included as part of your AutoGate newcar subscription and can be activated or removed at any time.
Activating Special Offers on eligible listings can help to:
- Highlight OEMbacked value on eligible newcar listings
- Make listings stand out visually during buyer comparison
- Support enquiry volume and quality
- Add more value from existing pricing and promotion activity
How to activate a Special Offer
You can activate available Special Offers directly from your Inventory List page in AutoGate. Once activated, it will be visible on the listing on carsales within a few minutes.
To activate a Special Offer:
- Log in to AutoGate
- Select Inventory > List from the main menu
- Select Apply Special Offer from the ‘Publishing’ column of the listing
- From the side panel, select from the list of available offers
- Remember to change the price of your listing through the Details page, it’s not automatically done when activating the Special Offer.
Only eligible listings with OEM‑approved offers available will show the option to activate a Special Offer.

How Special Offers appear on carsales
When a Special Offer is active:
- A banner and tag appear on selected newcar listings
- Listings with Special Offers can also be found using the “Special Offers” filter in a search
- This helps eligible listings gain additional visibility while buyers are researching and comparing vehicles.
