Sourcing (Tools and features)

Last Updated date filter

The Last Updated filter helps you quickly identify how recently changes have been made to a sourcing opportunity, giving you clearer visibility of what’s active, what needs attention, and what may be ready to close.

Updates to this feature make the date more accurate based on recent activity and introduces new filtering options to help you better manage your notetaking and sourcing pipeline.

Note: This update is currently only available on Web.

To access your Sourcing page in AutoGate:

  1. Log into your AutoGate account
  2. Select the Sourcing tab from the main menu
  3. Click on List

From the Sourcing List view, the Last Updated filter is visible in the row of filters at the top of the page.

How the Last Updated filter works

The Last Updated date reflects the most recent activity on a sourcing opportunity. This provides a clearer view of recent activity and edits and excludes automated system updates and non-customer related actions.

With the latest update, the date will now refresh any time a record is edited, including:

  • New customer notes about a contact attempt or conversation
  • Updating an existing customer note with a new contact outcome
  • Updates to status, valuation and other changes.

What’s changed?

Previously

  • The Last Updated date only refreshed when edits were made to the status
  • Activity such as customer notes did not effect this date
  • It was harder to identify opportunities that were inactive or becoming stale

What’s been updated?

  • The Last Updated date now updates whenever any change is made to an opportunity and is shown in the Status column on the right-hand-side of the Sourcing List page

  • You can now filter and sort sourcing opportunities based on the Last Updated date

  • A new option allows you to sort and view opportunities older than a selected range (Eg. Older than 7 days). Enable this by clicking the toggle within the Last Updated filter
  • Customer activity history is visible, and new notes can be added to any sourcing opportunity from the Sourcing Details page by clicking on the customer’s name
