What is Estimated Time to Sell?
Estimated Time to Sell is an AI-generated, data driven estimate of how long it’s likely to take for a vehicle to sell from today, based on LiveMarket data on carsales.
The estimate is calculated using multiple data points, including:
- Vehicle attributes such as: year, make, model, badge, colour, etc.
- Comparable vehicles currently on the market
- Recent market trends
- Location and buyer behaviour

An additional Time to Sell range
Now, with the expanded day-range, you get more context around how long a vehicle may take to sell. This helps you better understand which vehicles are likely to move sooner, and which may need pricing or promotion changes.
The three ranges are:
0–30 days
31–60 days
60+ days
This extra range gives you clearer insight into your stock performance, helping you make more informed decisions earlier and manage ageing stock more effectively.

We’ve added built‑in actions to help you turn insights into meaningful changes for your stock.
You can now:
- Edit price to improve competitiveness
- Promote a vehicle to increase visibility
These options sit alongside the estimate, making it easy to take the next step when it matters.

Where can I see ETTS?

In the Edit retail price side panel (available from the LiveMarket inventory details page and Listings page). Selecting More info opens the ETTS pop‑up, which provides a more visual view with additional detail

Clicking on the 'Est. Time to Sell' tile AND the 'How long until this car sells?' AI prompt will open the ETTS pop up which includes more detail.
