The AI assistant generates content based on the carsales Insights Reports from up to the past 6 months, and is ready to answer questions on these key areas:
- Your dealer stock performance and health
- Your used car inventory health
- carsales marketplace audience
- carsales used car market
Every question you ask helps us make the AI Assistant smarter and more useful for you. Your input will guide future improvements and show us exactly what kind of information matters most to dealers like you.
What’s new in Version 2
Version 2 of the Discover Insights Assistant introduces additional query options to help you access more relevant insights.
Ask about your own inventory performance
You can now ask questions about your own inventory and stock performance.
This allows you to view insights specific to your dealership, rather than only industry‑level data.
Examples of supported questions include inventory performance and stock trends related to your account.
Access insights across multiple dealerships
If you have access to more than one AutoGate account, the assistant can now return insights across all of those dealerships.
This applies even if some of the dealerships you manage are not part of the pilot.
Note: While Version 2 supports insights across multiple accounts, the assistant interface itself is still only visible within pilot dealerships.
How to Access & Use ‘Discover Insights’ AI Assistant
- Log in to AutoGate
- Click on ‘Discover Insights’ at the top right-hand corner (next to Help).
- You’ll find it on the Inventory, Sourcing, Customer, Promote, LiveMarket, or Store pages.
