Why is Livebook being upgraded and has moved to Sourcing?

We are excited to announce Livebook is getting an upgrade from May 2025! 

Enhance your searches with: 

  • NEW filters to refine searches and save time: kilometre range, Australia East region, and more vehicle attributes. 
  • NEW market analysis to improve valuation accuracy: kilometre adjusted price (KMAP), and instant offer. 
  • NEW vehicle details for faster reviews: see price changes, rego expiry date when available, and direct link to carsales listing. 
  • NEW search experience: more intuitive and enjoyable. 

This upgrade will allow us to continuously improve it; however, we acknowledge that things might look different.

Where has Livebook moved? 

Go to Sourcing > Add.

The permission “Sourcing Edit” is required to see the “Add”. Contact your administrator to gain access if you do not have it. 

Click on “Make and model” if you want to search a car broadly without knowing the full specs. 

 

How can I see all vehicles if I don’t know the specs? 

  • Search by make and model
  • Click on “show vehicles”
  • You can then refine your search by using the provided filters.

What can I do to quickly see a vehicle photo?

  • Click on a vehicle
  • Use your mouse, or use your keyboard “right” arrow for a faster experience.

 

Where are the “market analysis” section, “Redbook pricing” tab and “market history” tab?

  • The insights are available in the “All Insights” panel.

 

Where can I see the VIN/Rego of a vehicle?

  • Click on a vehicle in the competitive set.
  • Click on "Show VIN/Rego"
  • See VIN and/or Rego & Expiry when available.


Can I run a valuation from my phone?

  • On your mobile’s browser: go to AutoGate > Sourcing > Add
  • On the AutoGate App: go to Sourcing > Add > Make & Model
